The french article could be translated in english... [1]

The French article isn't so good. Be vigilant when translating it. --Montchav 14:58, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox

[edit]

Somewhere this article, which is primarily about a ski/snowboarding area, should have

  • Notability in the opening sentences: the amazing size of this area is a good candidate
  • An infobox which summarizes, in standard WikiProject Ski format, the details most skiers first ask about a ski area: where it is (like which country), how big and high it is, number of lifts, surface area, etc. Granted, this information is in the Ski area paragraph, but articles having it there also duplicate it into an infobox.

The Old logos is a fun and unique touch: perhaps they could be incorporated effectively with a more detailed history (instead of being a separate section). It also looks like the article's grammar could use some work, though it would be a nice touch to keep the "Frenchglish" accent. —EncMstr 19:13, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I add back THE infobox (without logo and photos). I'm Sorry for the "Frenchglish" ! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by RomGuig (talkcontribs) 08:20, 6 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]
Thanks for the infobox. The Frenchglish is charming—no apology needed. Certainly it's better than my French. Merci. —EncMstr 09:02, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, but on Wikipedia EN, articles must be in english, even if frenglish is charming ! And I would like to progress !  ;-) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by RomGuig (talkcontribs) 09:23, 6 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]
This article is a ski area, and this part of the English Wikipedia WP:SKI. It is to be written in standard spoken English. User:RideABicycle/Signature 23:02, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Logo-Plagne-1982.jpg

[edit]

Image:Logo-Plagne-1982.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:26, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dino prints near Plagne!

[edit]

Plagne is of more importance than a ski destination! It is the site of dinosaur prints. 138.229.28.71 (talk) 02:07, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
